House Policies

The safety, comfort, and enjoyment of every dog and their human come first. Please review our House Policies before your visit to help ensure a positive experience for all.

3 STRIKE POLICY

While we love all dogs and humans, Hound House is committed to maintaining a safe, inclusive, and enjoyable environment for everyone. We operate on a three-strike policy, after which membership, day-pass, or guest privileges may be revoked.

If a member, dog, or guest fails to follow House Policies or behaves in a way that makes others uncomfortable, Hound House reserves the right to revoke access or membership at any time without refund.

  • If a member, dog, or guest does not comply with our House Policies, a first warning will be issued. Our team will outline the policy in question and offer guidance to prevent future issues.

  • If misconduct continues, a second warning will be issued, reiterating the violation and outlining the consequences of further misconduct, which may include an immediate or permanent ban from Hound House.

  • Following two warnings—or in cases of serious or repeated misconduct—Hound House may issue a permanent ban. No refunds or partial reimbursements will be provided for permanently banned members.

    • A membership can be shared with 2 humans, and each member can attend separately.

    Visitors

    • Hound House is a canine-centred space, but you don’t need a dog to visit—just a love and comfort around them.

    Dog Requirements

    • We welcome friendly dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes who have a history of positive interactions with people and other dogs.

    • Dogs must be healthy, free of digestive upset or visible illness, up to date on vaccinations, flea- and tick-free, and have completed a complimentary Meet & Greet visit.

    Leash & Safety Etiquette

    • While entering and exiting the House, all dogs must remain leashed. Please unleash at check-in and use our leash valet for a smooth, leash-free experience in the Park.

    • To maintain safety, ensure your dog—and only your dog—enters or exits with you.

    • Dogs are not permitted in the Café area.

  • General Conduct

    • Members must remain on the premises while their dog is in the House unless booked into daycare.

    • Please be mindful of your own and your dog’s behaviour—respecting fellow guests, both human and canine.

    • Each member or day pass holder may bring up to two dogs.

    Cleanliness & Maintenance

    • Our attendants handle all cleanups.

    • If you notice an area needing attention, simply alert our team.

    Food & Drink

    • Outside food and beverages are not permitted.

    • Complimentary flat and sparkling water are available, and food or drinks from the Café may be enjoyed in the Club area. Please stay aware of nearby dogs while eating or drinking.

    • For safety reasons, no outside treats or toys are allowed.

    Respect & Safety

    • All guests are expected to treat others with respect. Inappropriate behaviour, harassment, or discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the House and a recorded strike.

    • Solicitation of products, services, or events is not permitted without prior approval from management.

    Health & Wellness

    • The House is a smoke-free and vape-free environment for the well-being of our dogs and guests.

    • Guests under 16 are not permitted.

    • For those 19 and over, please drink responsibly—our team is always happy to assist with getting you and your pup home safely if needed.

  • Members may bring up to two guests to the House at any time. Guests are also welcome at select monthly social events—please RSVP through the concierge so we can accommodate them accordingly.

Members are responsible for their guests at all times. Any guest violation of House Policies will be recorded as a strike against the member and may result in immediate removal of both the member and their guest(s).

  • Membership fees are billed monthly and are non-refundable once processed. You may cancel anytime before the first of the upcoming month to avoid renewal.

To cancel or reschedule a service, please do so at least 24 hours in advance online or through the concierge. Cancellations made within 24 hours are non-refundable.

Please note that late pickups are subject to a $5 fee.
